and as someone else said send them the link to this thread. They should not like the bad press. Your daughter should be send the games machine in full for the disapointment they have caused. Fair enough for an adult, but as a kids comp this should not happen.

Virgin Radio Belongs to Scottish Media Group or SMG for short. So there is no point to contacting anything that is to do with Virgin themselves or there PR company either.

If I hear nothing from them today I will send this link to them, I have mailed everyone people have suggested with a read receipt and nothing.What else can I do? Perhaps if they had seen my daughter sitting with me holding her hand when she was on air and how excited she was they would not be so blaze.

I doubt emailing Pete & Geoff will help. They are just doing their job, reading a script put in front of them. They don't deal with this kind of stuff.

eg. If you were selling raffle tickets for, say, Asda, and someone won a prize, it is upto Asda to supply the prize, not find you and badger you for it.

I understand your upset and frustrated, but take it out on the 'big boys upstairs' and not on the presenters.

I sincerely hope you get it soon though.

As a thought, while you are waiting, is there anyway YOU could post it to her so she doesn't have to wait and you can pretend it has come and wait for the money yourself. I know this time of year is particularly hard, and that you are not made of money, but I'm just thinking of a way to help your daughter. If I had the money I would send it to you myself to stop the upset.

Guess what turned up today in the post? Yes, the long awaited cheque from Virgin for my daughter!

very happy little bunny, sadly she does not share the same enthusiasm as me for sales and winning stuff so we are off to purchase the nintendo tomorrow! now.... you can all enter the comp on Virgin radio and win £60 lol!
