Ok I've made £125 since last saturday. I'm loving this ebay lark. If I can make £100 a week, i'm happy.
Just need to find more junk to put on there! 11 currently listed. I need to get this up to 30 by the end of the week!"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like its heaven on earth." - Mark Twain0 -
anyone on here had much luck buying at car boots and selling them on. Still got plenty in the house to try my luck with but my 13 year old son loves car boots so we go quite regularly and just wondered if it was worth looking for stuff to sell on?0

My understanding is that you have to be careful here as you are actually purchasing with the intention of selling on so legally you are considered as a business. Some people on eBay are very petty and will report people so just tread carefully. Personally if you can make a few pounds this way then I think its great and I'm sure I've seen other people on this thread do exactly what you are referring to.

'You have got to be joking!'....an absolute no...my house is full to the rafters with things that need to be sold. I couldn't even think about going to a car boot sale to add to it :rotfl:
As StOlli mentioned; buying on to sell for a profit is a business. Selling items that you already own is not.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
I've seen this happen for a few people and it being quite profitable. But as mentioned, be careful!
I'd have no chance. If I let myself loose shopping at a car boot it's a slim chance that I'd sell anything on, and I would definitely never see my back bedroom floor again :rotfl:Pround to be dealing with my debts! DFW Nerd # 1201

thanks for the advice guys, never thought of the fact it could be classed as a business. Looks like its back to sorting through drawers and cupboards. Mind you I have got some tat ( sorry I mean items;)) in the loft from when we did car boots and they didnt sell so might be worth putting someof that on.
Also to anyone just starting ebaying its definately worth relisting I have just sold 4 items that have been relisted 3 times prviously without any luck, bringing in an extra £210 -
Hello All
So far this month I have listed nothing!!!!
I could give you excuses but it won't change anything so not much point!!
BUT August will be different, (I realise it might be a bit early but while it is pressing on my conscious I feel I ought to tell the MSE world!!) in August I will list 90 items. I want to built up slowly! I've two weeks off at least, so should be easy, although LB is off for one of those weeks too which means I'll get nothing done!
So 90 items in August! :eek:Mortgage: Jun 08 £155300~Repayment Made: £4300~Remaining: Mar 10 £151000DFW Nerd 1190
