my fees just come out of my paypal balance once a month - i just get th invoice from ebay, and it is taken automatically.

i have just photographed about 25 items so hopefully will get most of them on turbo lister 2nite, and do the same for the next 2 or 3 nights, so I will hopefully have quite a few listings to upload on Thursday evening.

i have very little motivation but am soo p****d off with having no money and no car I really need to keep going! on the plus side it is payday on Wednesday so that will cheer me up until the bills need paid lol!!!

Stay positive cc and you'll get that car and rid of the debts before you know it!

I've been very naughty and agreed a sale. They have just come and collected and I am now £125 richer which is really good but it means that I have wasted an evening not listing as I was waiting for them to arrive.

Am going to celebrate with a chinese takeout and then prepare some listings.

    Morning everyone :)

Just a little tip in case anyone struggling, the thing I find hard when listing is getting sat down and started (used to have same prob at Uni with essays) so what I used to do was before I finished my writing session I'd write down in note form the 2 or 3 ideas that I was about to write then next time I thought about sitting down it was easier cos I knew where to start. So, sorry - waffling is a bad habit of mine :) with Ebaying I do something similar. At the end of a listing session I take my photos of what I am going to list the next time and get them all ready and turned round/cropped etc. That way next time I know I have got to do some listing I already know what to list and that the pics are ready and waiting. I can sit and get on straight away rather than have to faff (spelling?) around findings items, photographing them etc etc.

We all have our own ways but if it helps someone somewhere then it's all good :D

Congrats to benbenandme with successful car boot spotting! Perhaps you could give us some tips?

Floxxie Not naughty to agree a sale as you pay plenty enough in fees! Hope you enjoyed your chinese!!

C_C Keep going - it'll all be worth it when you are going beep beep in your new brum :)

Getting everso slightly addicted to the mse forums!.....

Hmmpphh, I haven't had that email on either of my accounts.

vicster5, I have photographs going back to 2005 ready for eBay listing! I now have a separate pile of today's items for listing. Will get them ready on turbolister and see if the email comes in before I list.

Turbolister is easy - download and then set up an account. It asks for your eBay username and if you want your current listings synchronised with turbolister. I can't imagine adding listings directly on as I tend to stop and start - lots of interruptions in my house.

Right off to get DS2 from playschool and then hopefully we can all have a little nap (I've been up with him since 3.45 and don't function at all without enough sleep)

Floxxie - 2005, that is impressive! lol my sister and I always say procrastination is the thief of time, some really old quote makes us sound intelligent when we're not really!!
Thanks for turbo lister tip - will try that later. Hope you get some sleep. It's a shame that those people who list things for you on ebay only take higher value items. Is there anyone in your family who would list some stuff for you if you offered comission? Guessing as you're an ebay pro you've thought of everything already tho...

Have currently got 25 items listed (my most ever!!) and hardly any bids or watchers :(
Thinking may try some cd's and books on amazon...

Vic: I feel your pain on the items listed with hardly any bids or watchers....

I've just managed to make the most spectacular loss on amazon.... To be fair I didn't research the fees etc before I started listing so I merrily listed the Graham Norton autobio for .01 as that was what lots of other people had it listed at. In my [STRIKE]naivity[/STRIKE] stupidity I assumed that it would be ok as people wouldn't list if they didn't make money (not knowing that powermerchants pay less fees)..... Needless to say my postage costs didn't cover the cost!

I'm such a numpty at times
