Hi - bucketting down here - only place on the bbc weather map in the south east with a blue blob over it!!

Have arranged to sell my beloved phil and teds to a friends sister.... The brake brackets broke last year, and although I ordered new brackets, Ive now mislaid the brake bar..!!!
I washed it all yesterday, and it looks lovely again!

The clutter in this house is really getting me down.:(

LHB, I'm just about to sell my P&T buggy. Had it less than 12 months. Spent a small fortune on it. How much are you selling yours for?

Did a lovely photo of it but that appears to have disappeared from camera and camera has just died on me (well the lens has got stuck and is making a strange noise with an error code on the display) but due to my half job over the last 12 months I have 100 odd photos already on the laptop so no excuse for stopping :T Might even 'steal' a photo for the buggy.....

Am now listing things that I know nothing about.....you know train sets, toy cars...the sort of thing to put a stop to my 'eBay roll' but I shall endure it (even if it is for this week only) :rotfl:

Glad you all appear to have horrible weather. I was feeling a little sorry for myself being stuck indoors.

    Hey

Not done any listing on ebay apart from relisting stuff that didn't sell. Most of the stuff that i listed during my last ebay frenzy finishes today and tomorrow so far i have 14 items selling for a grand total of £31.03 :T Alot of my new items are selling or have watchers but i also have sold a few items over the last few days that i've had for ages so thats good.

I've been selling a few magazines at 50p each which would normally have just been thrown out so have made a few pounds out of that.

So far this month i have sold 10 items for a grand total of £7.70 am going to put this in my signature and try and update at the end of every day if any items sell. I want to try and sell £100 worth of items this month.

Glad to hear everyone is doing better than me with their listings

It's pouring with rain here and its freezing cold 2 so i really should be ebaying instead of just watching tv :o

Glad youre glad at my awful weather:rotfl:. Its making clearing out the conservatory and garager really difficult (I have stuff on the lawn with a plastic sheet over the top....:rotfl::rotfl:

I sold the buggy for £150 - its a navy one, about 4.5 years old. Apart from the brake and a tear in the underneath of the shopping basket, its in very good condition.I am very sad to see it go, and am a bit worried that I may still need it if ds2 refuses to walk to collect dd from school on Fridays (ds finishes school at an earlier time and cannot walk).
I suppose, Ill have to get tougher with ds2, (or he can sit on ds1's lap).

I decided to sell privately as she really needs it, and it means that I dont have any listing/final value/posting charges. Im selling it only with the doubles kit and the double raincover - I have already ebayed everything else.

Floxxie, which p&t do you have, and what are you asking for it?

Im also freecycling at the moment. Clearing out LOADS of old paint tins. As we are outting the house on the market when the clutter is gone:rotfl:, every room is being painted magnolia!!, and I dont need the colours that I really like!!

LHB, I have the black and grey one with the extra seat and cover. I haven't decided on a price yet but it cost me £350 last April and it has been used less than 10 times! Looking at eBay anything between £200 and £250 I think but even mine has a couple of flaws (from delivery) which I should have got sorted but what with a newborn it didn't happen. Still thinking whether they will affect the price that much.

I decided to try a buggy board (as I have another two buggys) and thankfully DS2 has taken to it. It is a lot easier on my arms and I think DS2 is actually too heavy for the double buggy!

I'm sitting here listening to lots of CDs ready to put on Amazon later. About to start on the Flylady challenge as I have now moved the remaining things into the living room (:rotfl:). Camera definitely broken but enough photos to keep me going this week I think.

BB, you're doing well..it's only the 4th day of the month and you have sold more than I have ;)

Have set myself a target this week of having 150 live listings (am going to cheat and include 8 relisted items in that amount). Will report later how far I have got....

There is an indentation/cut on the handlebar of about 1cm. Will have to check the box to see if it is a staple that caused it or careless couriers!
On the raincovers first use my DS2 pushed his feet forward and one of the 'clips' snapped straight off. I kept it by my desk meaning to get it changed but eventually threw it away. Of course it still works as a raincover and doesn't blow away but really annoyed me that it could be so flimsy.

Read somewhere that there are always problems with these buggys when bought off the internet. Not sure why - maybe they are the dodgy ones?!

Apart from that it is fine so hoping it doesn't affect the price too much. Was tempted to go for a 99p start with a £200 reserve to save on listing fees but need to work out if I shall.

    hi everyone!

bit of a mixed bag this weather - some people selling lots & others not doin anything!

i have not listed a seingle thing in around 10 days - have a few things ending - best thing was a men's shirt from primark sold for £9 odd - only paid £1 or £2 for it!

make up & perfume normally sell quite well for me - even if they have been used a few times!

hope to get a few things on this week but wont be holding my breath lol!!

an i always send items 2nd class and haven't has any issues! 'touch wood!!'

Hi Floxxie - I would buy another handlebar off ebay and sell the buggy as perfect. Dont sell the raincover with the buggy, but list it seperately when the buggy is sold. ...oh, and then sell the knicked handlebar seperately too!!

p&t buyers seem to be quite picky, but there doesnt seem to be much logic at times...one of the little wind / rain shields at the back which no one ever uses went for £22 today on ebay - no idea why - there is even a b-i-n for about £4.

I will list a pair of spare knuckles and a spare front and reat wheel seperately.

Should I give my buyer the little windshield?

I think that I have had about 2500 trips with my p&t:T:T

Well i now have another 10 items listed :j it took me longer than i thought it would and i have a sore head now from listening to the rave cds i needed to check before listing :o

Running total 350 items listed and 17 of those selling for £37.02 more than i expected .... only thing is everything that is selling finishes today and tomorrow and then nothing  hopefully it will pick up but if not maybe some of the new things will sell after the 10 day listings.
