You're welcome JesaRose. I didn't know you did this as part of your job - uuggghhh! (Makes note that when I go back to the real world to work, must make sure it is not part of my job
) I'm not surprised it is a massive effort!
There's lots of motivated people on here. We all have ups and downs and disappear for a while but most of us return so feel free to let us know how you are doing; it will help the rest of us stay focused.
As you say the end result is lovely - stuff gone and pounds in the bank.

Its for the charity I work for - thankfully my lovely volunteers do the listings on ebay and I have the pleasure of watching the endings and sending out parcels as I like that bit.
I have photographed and edited the photoes for the rest of my 4 boxes. Just starting writing the listings nowNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Hi all,
Well done on your eBaying, I've got loads of watchers on my stuff at the moment but eBay is playing silly beggars and I can't load the sign in page!
Tried in the home computer and my laptop, so I'm guessing it's an eBay based issue.
Washed all the clothes I'm selling today which has lead to a huuuge ironing mountain!
Hopefully I'll be able to get back on later and list some more, I'm on a roll nowhope everyone manages to hurdle the eBay "wall"

Have been selling on ebay on and off for about 3 years now. have listed about 20 items (daughters old clothes) mind u, they still look like new! normally have lots of luck, but things are slow, listed 20 items over 10 days, only sold 2, not many watchers:mad: when i try and find my listings, in the searches, cant find em!

Hi jasper
The best time for most listings to finish seems to be sunday afternoons/evenings and monday evenings. How old is your daughter? it depends who your market is really - if she is little then ending them during the day after the kids have gone to school might be better.
I think things are quite slow on ebay at the moment unfortunately as people are short of money so they have stopped shopping quite a much.
Your could try learning some basic HTML which enables you to put in lots of photos for free. There is a great book called Easy HTML for eBay (link here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0789732319) which I learnt from and it has great tips on lots of listing improvements. Its not as scary as it sounds and makes a huge difference to how your listings lookNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I've also found that I am selling a lot more to Europeans as I guess they are getting a bargain with the exchange rate. They are also buying things that people in the UK wouldn't bother e.g. baby stuff from Boots.
Since the changes last year (?) I don't sell to the Americans or Canadians anymore which is sad. You have to pay 5p extra to be 'visible' to them.
jasperconran welcome! I've sold clothes and have had mixed results; boys clothes don't seem to sell as well. What I always put in my listings is that the items come from a smoke & pet free home. I bundle items where I can but I personally haven't had much luck at these going for good prices.
I also continue relisting; I've had plenty of times where something hasn't sold the first time around and then there is a bidding war!
I think eBay is a little crowded at the moment with lots of 99p listings so people can get a bargain but the postage increase does make lots of items appear really expensive.
Good luck!
