I have cancelled after 4 months into an 18 month contract.
EDIT: actually no I haven't, I changed my mind amd withdrew the notice as I couldn't find a better deal than 14 months free in an 18 month contract (£30pm for 500 mins / 100 SMS).
Question rendered irrelevant, so deleted.

My friend bought a phone, via cashback (not sure which company it was with) and forgot to send all his cashback claims in, he's very unorganised you see! He didn't hear a word from the dealer. So I guess the dealers actually make money by you not sending in your cashback claims, so based on this, I doubt that they'll be contacting you.0
