It may not cause any "visible" problems - it could just be doing damage out of sight.

What are the viruses called? They might be trojans which the antivirus software is not so good at dealing with. Have you updated and run AdAware, Spybot Search & Destroy or other similar software? Have a look at the Links to free online scanners thread and try one of them.
    Torgwen.......... :) ...........

don't forget that you need to run AVG in safe mode to clean properly :)

Thats exactly what he means run the PC in safe mode usually tap F8 at start up to go into safe mode then run a AVG scan.

Then restart PC as normal after scan completion.

nelly - if they're not casusing any visible harm to your PC they may be "sleepers" awaiting an activation signal.

If they are Trojans download the fully working trial version of Trojanhunter here.....

    http://www.trojanhunter.com/

Have it scan your machine to clean out anything it finds.

    Best of luck.
  • Trojans are very bad!!

Some have keyloggers attached, watching every bank detail you type in, some can peep through your webcam and watch you, most can access, delete, and modify all of your files, upload and download to and from your computer....

You say you can't be bothered to look into them huh?

    Get them fixed :)!
