    Il have a look at the site you mentioned. The term is called "Alt Text" not tool tip.

    The Kellys Korner website, tip 7 is to extend the time the balloon appears at the bottom right from the system tray. When it appears saying "Updates are avalible" and things like that.

    yeah i saw that kelly corner one and thats for the balloon tips thats totally different. I would d/l tweakUI its a nice app and pretty safe to use if you read things thoroughly before doing anything.

    its worth it just to solve your problem tbh, plus you can take away those annoying little arrows on your desktop shortcuts (thats the main reason I got it tbh)
