Unbundled Area???

I just moved out of home (student woo) and I have been trying to sort out internet/tv/phone deals since Sept 15th.
I just tried to get the cheap o2 deal for existing customers, and it turns out I would have to pay an extra £10 a month because the area isn't unbundled. I have no idea what's going on. But Im hearing the same story everywhere i try.
Can someone tell me how to get cheeeeeap internet for a 'bundled'(?) area please!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You might also want to check out AOL being a student as you could possibly get their free laptop offer with phone calls from £19.99/month?0
