    Your posts are simply abysmal.

Anyway, parcelforce seem to have the best reputation amongst consumers, not sure if that's warranted as personally I would say they are all very much of a muchness. They all provide low cost delivery of items that would can easily cost 3 times as much with the Royal Mail. The fact is it's simply not possible to provide a personalised service, and the reality is some people really need to lower their expectations. If you want the best service use Special Delivery.

Funny that my item WAS sent special delivery signed for...but it was delivered to a different adress.
  • So what's parcelforce go to do with the price of fish then?

You can't use Royal Mail special delivery for items over a certain weight, so you can not always use that service.
I agree with you to some extent, however i do think a lot of these delivery men could make more effort, they never seem to ring me if they can't find my address, they just arrive late or not at all or deliver to the wrong address. Not asking for a personalized service, just a bit more common sense. Although i would like to add i know some delivery men do have this and my regular postie is a nice chap.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I think parcel force are crap and a few others are too, then again royal mail is also a right royal load of crap too , full of numpties, agency workers and non english speaking chaps , to be honest i think if you sent a pile of dog turds it would either get lost , knicked,or delivered to the wrong address

We have to deal the tribulations of couriers every day, and the problems we do get probably equate to our biggest headache of the whole business.

Drivers can have 150+ drops and collections to do in a day, so time is of the essence. Spend an extra 20mins on one drop could mean another 3/4 could suffer. As for telephone numbers they may not even have them, via ebay who gives their phone number? As for the drivers same with anything there will be the odd bad one, but by in large they are excellent- can't fault ours for any of the companies.

The big problem is parcelforce and others, very bottom rate can be around £3, what do you expect for that? We have an excellent rate with DHL, but I'm willing to take the odd bump for it as are most other people in business.

The best couriers I think are probably UPS or DPD but you have to pay for it, and business nor consumers are very keen on that.

Being able to charge low delivery and making one or two pounds (easily covering packaging costs)>>>>>>>charging high delivery and making nothing.

DPD are muppets too. (and thats me being extremely polite about it)

I had a card from them last week, and it said don't worry if its your first delivery, we will redelivery the next day.

I waited in the next day and no one turned up.

Called this week to be told that, the card had been left on the second delivery and the item had now been returned to sender.

Just one problem. I haven't ordered anything so have no idea who its from. The company and phone number DPD gave me, belongs to Mothercare who agree they haven't sent anything to me either.

DPD are now saying there is nothing they can do about it and tough.

sounds like they put the card through the wrong door then, if you aren't expecting anything
  • Nope, my name, address etc on the card and on the system, so definately for me

There was a birthday in the house last week, so potentially for them, but no one is admitting to sending it

Whenever i book a courier or whatever i provide a number and i am sure a lot of others do as well. I understand some people do not, but what is the point looking for a place for an hour when you could call that person and ask for directions, doesn't need to take 20 mins.
