What has happened to my homescreen?

For a couple of years I have had MSN (newspage) as my homescreen with no problems. About a month ago I started getting " page not found" everytime i logged on. As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings etc ( but its not impossible that someone else may have , unwittingly ). Reloading MSN didnt help. Since then I have set several different pages as homescreens ( BBC and this site to name just two ) and at first everything seems fine, but after a few days it always reverts to "page not found" when i log on.
Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong , and , more importantly , how to fix it?

Try this

Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings,
Take out tick from Reset Home Page Then Click Yes, Ok, OK


Now go to the webpage/site you want to use as your homepage and then, Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, Use Curent, Ok

If it reverts you may need more help.

Perhaps a virus or trojan is changing your settings.

Have a look at Internet Security - Free! Viruses and the other stickies about security at the top of this board, perhaps the best thing to do would run a scanner. Links to online virus scanners should help you.
