Hardship funds aren't necessarily grants, AFAIK. It's exactly where the OP needs to do, because s/he's got to live off something -- whether it's a loan or a grant, hardship funds are exactly for this kind of emergency situation. Not everyone's parents can find the necessary money at short notice, and not everyone can get a job ASAP.0 -
