If you're in Scotland, however, you have to pay the £100 fee whatever your circumstances
. I know it's less than in England and Wales, but still pretty steep if you don't have it.

When talking to CCCS earlier on today , I was told that the fees in UK are $495 of which 345 are OR fees and 150 are court fees.
I was also told One can fill in EX160 to get exemption from the court fees but nothing was mentioned to me about not having to pay the 345 OR fees - or am I missing something?
Thanks a lot0 -

Low Income/Benefits could get you off the Court Fee BUT not the Deposit.

If you stop paying all your creditors now you should soon be able to save the fees. Or if you have any money left on a cc or overdraft the OR appears to turn a blind eye to you using this for the fees.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Do you have anything you could sell on ebay or elsewhere? Actually ebay is quite expensive to sell on - they keep taking money out of OH's account! Try gumtree if you have anything to sell.

The £345 OR deposit must always be paid.
AS previously mentioned, occasionally it is possible that a trust fund may provide the funds for you in exceptional hardship cases, but that is now increasingly difficult to get.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
