  • While I feel a bit stupid for listening to all those people who were adamant that money in Icesave was absolutely guaranteed(you know who you are) I dont think that anyone who invested should be beating themselves up over it. All those financial experts, local authorities, big charities who are paid fantastic salaries to invest wisely just got caught out worse than most of us.(Cats Protection League have some 11 million invested!!!!!!!).I tried to take out my money on Sunday, but by last Friday it was evident that the money was returned to my account.Although not a fan of labour or G. Brown i have to say that he and Darling has done us proud - I fully expected to lose all my money. I was one of those who held Railtrack shares when the gov. decided to steal all my money. I lost most of what I had invested - but that's life.
Anyway, stop moaning and wringing hands-all those highly paid financial gits with egg on their faces are looking pretty stupid now. Lets all hope that it gets sorted soon.

    Hi folks,

I'm going to close this discussion down (not delete, just close). Not because anything is wrong with it. But because we now know interest is being paid and the title is scaring people. I've left it up a few days, but its out of date and i think its time for it to drop down the list.
