That Lovely Christmas Tree Smell

My partner and I are working away from 'home' but have decided to try to spruce up our temporary flat with a fake Christmas tree - didn't go the whole hog as we have managed to get Christmas at home.

But we're missing that lovely, piney, Christmas Tree smell!

Does anybody know if there is an aerosol spray kind of feature out there which we could buy?

Season's greetings to you all!! (Early I know!!)

I am pretty sure you can get something like that, unfortunately I am not sure where you get it from.

I am sure someone will know.

what about putting some pine xmas tree branch cut offs into a bowl on your coffee table?

it would give you that real xmas tree scent without the mess a real tree does to your flooring.

i dont know where you could get a bag full of off cuts though? lol

    any ideas anyone?

Try visiting daleair.com - they are a company that make smells - from the smell of christmas through to dragon's breath.

Ah yes, the fir tree smell!!! When I used to put up a real tree, when it was all over before throwing the poor thing away, I would strip most of its needles off and collect them in a carrier bag. Then, when I had the gas cooker on and after cooking, I would sprinkle a few needles on the burning ring (on low). In no time a lovely smell of pine would pervade the flat.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

I have 2 Christmas candles that are Christmas tree scented and lovely. Throw a teeny drop of cinnamon in a drop of boiling water and the smell is divine. Unfortunately my candles are so old I can't remember where I bought them but I would guess the bigger garden centres or DIY shops would see something similar.

    Happy Christmas and Seasons Greetings!

  • Hi, the best xmas tree smell I have come across is crabtree and evelyn noel spray.
I use this on my fake tree so it smells like a real one, it last ages also!
