I just think that the difference is that the Florida comp was run by the dibb website.
This gesture by foofighter was a generous offer to fellow mse'rs not a "competition". Many of us do this with tickets because we are grateful to all those who post the comps and if we can't use the prize like to offer it to other mse folk as a gesture.

Can't believe what's happened here - just logged on to see who the winner was and all this chaos!! I posted Guinness Rugby tickets on here as we couldn't make it and they went to a fellow MSE'r and my post wasn't deleted?????????

It was a fabulous gesture and well worthy of P of the M - you have my vote anyway!

Human kindness restored and my faith in MSE'rs remains intact - for the most part anyhow (lurkers, dibbers etc) but then - as stated- I think it was to be expected.

Hope the winner has a smashing time and dare I say it - maybe buy Foo a gift to say thank you for their wonderful gesture????
