remote unlocking for the NEC 343i i-mode

Hi

Ebay.uk is full of people claiming to remotely unlock the NEC 343i i-mode.

does anybody know how? I want to try and do it myself before i hand over my 9 pounds for the remote unlocking service.

I'm in the same boat!

I've scanned the internet and found nothing - which makes me wary of the guys on ebay!

Anybody know how to get hold of the code please?

The 343i NEC can be remotely unlocked by using a piece of equipment called Furious dongle (https://www.furiousbox.com ) This is unlocked by IMEI - The 3rd party dealer will take your money and then use one of his pre-purchased logs to get you the code. If he buys 100 credits it will cost him 250 euro's and he will get an extra 50% free. So it will cost him about £1 for the code !! good profit... I may start doing it myself ... I assume you got the phone for 29.99 ( oops price corrected !! )off the o2 student site ?

amended post so nobody will see my mistake.... yep it's 29.99 - I ordered one yesterday - I will unlock mine free because I have 5 free credits to unlock with my furious dongle. :j
