will give you some information on calella, the hotel and things to do.the Esplai. it is a good 3* hotel;nothing fancy but is in a good location in the new town.
a visit to papas bar for a drink and a game of "spanish bingo" is almost compulsory for brits in calella.
they have a candle makers shop in the main shopping centre and you can watch them making candles. some of the designs are spectacular.
dont worry, i'm sure you'll have a great time.

Thanks to all of you. At least now even I am looking forward to the holidays. Today Fleetway called me that Esplai is closing for refurbishment and we are going to be accomodated in Pineda Palace 4* instead. Has any of you been there? I suppose it should be better than Esplai when it is 4*, at least food. We have food included (I have a husband and 2 boys who cant stop eating) so hopefully that will be fine. And if weather works for us, that might actually be quite fun. I'll let you know once we come back.
