o2 wireless

Daughter has just joined o2 bb. Does she need to secure the wireless box? I asked her about it she said no, she has used the cd and it says it's ok? Is she right? Thanks

If you don't NEED the wireless then just turn it off via the o2 box interface.

Otherwise the o2 box default SECURITY level is probably just the most basic WEP level - whereas the equipment supports the far more secure WPA2 with PreSharedKey PSK.

So as the family's intelligent enough to realise security is an issue: s/be smart enough to either disable or enhance the wireless encryption :)
