Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

I'm sitting here with a large mug of Pinot Noir, hoping along with everyone else, that my monies reappears from the CHAPS ether and plops into my linked account tomorrow. Grateful thanks to this forum - I am a single girlie, with no one to share this trauma with - my mum is on holiday, so I can't even talk to her! It has provided more substance and information that any of my frustrating encounters with the FSA phone jockeys delivered (and that's a story in itself). The consolation of knowing I am just one of many has helped alleviate the feelings of isolation I would have felt dealing with this without my virtual friends. Please post details of the Icesave thread (once it's started), 'cos yep, you guessed it....I got hit with that one too.
This experience I am likening to the War in terms of solidarity and camaraderie. For those of us too young to remember the War in person.
I agree: as soon as this !!!! is resolved*, there will be a massive decampment to the Icesave forum

Assuming that Friday is the grand clearout of the backlog does this mean that it is business as usual from monday as I need to take some money out to pay for a car but if thats going to take 2 weeks instead of 1 then I will take it out sooner.0

'ING Direct' is an anagram of 'crediting', which is proof positive that they will complete our withdrawal transfers tomorrow. (What do you mean, someone at the door for me? I'm fine. I was just posting to moneysavi-0
