icesave moneysavers action group

An action group is a great idea. However if there is word of a buyer we don't want to scare them off as if some bank buys Icesave we're all ok.0

only a suggestion, but i feel the focus of any action group is to keep our grievance well to the fore in all the media channels, papers, tv if poss., and this is indeed where Martin comes in.
What must not happen is to allow this to become yesterdays news........0 -
come on we need to unite and can someone be a mod on this -we are in the same boat together and the more of use the better in one group-who will step foreward to be our leader and spokeman ??0

I am in. Happy to help with organising or anything really.0

How dare you post here, isofa!
I lost track of the times you sneered at the "scaremongers" who warned that Icesave was going under many weeks back.
You are an absolute menace!
What?
Do not post such nonsense towards me, I've reported your post.
I have money with both the Icelandic groups - I'm probably far more at risk than you - you have been one of the harbingers of doom for months.
The mass withdrawal and start of a run on the bank yesterday from the UK causes Icesave to freeze all UK accounts, how helpful was that to all of us?
You have slurred other regulars on this forum over and over again - and been reported over and over again.
I gave my opinion, I thought at the time KE was extremely safe - I still do, nothing is at risk under 50K with KE.
Icesave less so, but still unlikely to fold, however in 48 hours everything went mad.
It hasn't folded yet, and there is still hope all money is safe. Darling is going to make an announcement this morning about Icesave.
No one could have predicted this situation, and if you had done, you'd not be posting such twaddle here, you'd have withdrawn a long time ago, or with your expert hindsight never opened in the first place. Take responsibility for your own actions and don't blame others.
I'm not debating or arguing with you, there are more important things to do.0 -
Darling on Radio 4 has just said the UK government will stand by Icesave savers, whether this means over 50K isn't clear, but there is real hope.0
-
he's just said on bbc breakfast he will provide 100% cover for ALL money in icesave not just 50,000!!!0
