Just a quick note and please don't discuss this as it blocks the thread.
I know a few regulars have linked to another post on a similar subject. Actually we hadn't spotted that as there was nothing on the forum when we first prepared this note. The note wasn't put up for a while as we awaited confirmation on some issues from Direct Line before posting (as we do) and obviously no one checked again before posting.
When its a major link from teh weekly e-mail that goes to 2.5m people, it need to be journalistically researched and legalled hence why we often talk in detail to the company behind it to ensure there are no trap doors or problems.
This can sometimes mean someone else posts in the meantime as happened in this case. Frankly I love it when we can show MoneySavers great tips and we like to give credit. Sometimes though there's cross over an unintentionally someone feels hard done by. In this case, thanks to Heskpesk for their post.
Where we do spot something on the forums, we do try and include credit and a link saying so.
Anyway I don't want to divert this discussion so if we can let this thread stay on topic that'd be great.
