  • Don't know if anyone else is experiencing difficulties, but I've just completed and requested a Direct Line home insurance quote, entered the promotional code - mspress - and received a message saying the code was invalid? Would be good to hear from anybody who's successfully got through the process.

I tried this yesterday, after reading about it here, and again today, as it was in the Times. Where do you enter the code? Is it after the payment page?

  • Quote more expensive than we pay at the moment but if I get a freen fiver I'm not complaining
  • Hi just done it,
Looking forward to a free fiver.
Thanks for the tip. We are with Direct Line for our home insurance and we had an automatic renewal quote of £219, we went on to their website for a quote with exactly the same details and cover and were quoted £135. So much for loyalty.
    Good luck to you all

so I went back and changed to unlisted and it went thru :D
    Thanks op

    me too. heehee
    naughty

I have just done it, and now i am wondering if i should press register or not.
it is more expensive than my current rate, so i don't want to accidently sign up!

p.s. decided to err on the side of caution and NOT register.

thanks op for this. very nice.
