Icesave ISAs - can I get another ISA?!

Here's a question:
If (when) Icesave go under, assuming I get my money back, can I open another ISA in the same financial year or will HMRC show me as already having got an ISA?
Will they make an allowance for us Icesave customers to open a new ISA? I know this is all pie in the sky as it's never happened before....but these kind of questions need answers..
