what happened to mark from CNN ?
  • Martin is not to blame, but he's got a lot of people interested in such banks via this site, he needs to be careful. But I wholeheartedly support Martin for his honest work to date.
  • Gosh channel 4 reporters/presenters are agressive huh!
I think Martin offers great advice, and with anything, you need to investigate things in totality before you jump in. Listen to ALL the advice, not just the bits you want to hear. Martin has offered the advice, its up to people what they do with it.
    Keep your chin up... ;)
Please be nice, this is all so new to me!

Just seen the channel 4 news. I was very disappointed with John Snow's interview; partitioning blame onto Martin was very poor reporting, not at all helpful and took focus off the important issues. Well done Martin on getting the important facts across!

  • Martin doesnt have a crystal ball.

No body in this country knew that landsbanki, what was one of the respected banks and truely on the world stage would fail.

I for one do not like the 'blame game' in almost any circumstance but particularly one like this. Martin stated the basis on which he was making his recommendations and described the risks as he saw them Clearly if an event is assessed a very low risk and happens it may mean just that the dice on this occasion came up, it does not mean that the person calling the odds was wrong in his assessment of the odds, although some people will try to argue that this was the case. It is very much one's own individual choice whether one follows the advice of a 'tipster' (financial advisor or pundit) or not and to me it seems pointless to try to attribute blame for the way the chips fall.

MARTIN - PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON US!!

I like many others trusted your site to provide clear information on all aspects of our money, for this I thank you.

I read your balanced articles on Icesave and ensured I did not have more than 35k saved with this company.

I have no doubt I will receive my money back, eventually!

Please, please champion a fight to save our ISA tax wrapper with the compensation due. Many of us have many years of ISA allowances at stake.

You know that many people who use your site are Icesave Isa savers and your representation would carry a fair amount of weight.

    Martin Has done nothing wrong
...for all those pillow biting, fudge packing, uphill gardening, saddle sniffing, carpet munching indiots who believe that they are never wrong under any circumstances..well done, you have just blown any chances that you ever had of reaching an adult stage.;)

Strange that someone attempting to accuse others of not being adult is only capable of doing it by using peurile homophobic language.

Does your mummy allow you to be up this late?
