    Jeeeez, not looking forward to my time with Virgin then, I transferred 2500 into my bank account, the lady on teh phone told me it would be free of charge,can anyone clarify that for me ::)

    I'm afraid you've entered into a bit of a minefield where MBNA cards and charges are concerned but if this is your first BT as a new customer you should be OK.

    You could always register for MBNA internet access too - that way, you should know if they've charged you sooner rather than later...??

    They are dealing with a case for me with Alliance and Leicester. As soon as they wrote to A&L my money was refunded.

    Got my first statement, no charges for anything and I was a bit late with my first payment to, perhaps i am ONE of the lucky ones... ;D
