Can we also spread a bit of these thanks around to the staff at both Icesave and KE, while we're at it.

Lots of people are coming on here and are genuinely worried about their money, while the people actually taking the calls from these people may end up losing their savings AND their job to boot. Whenever i have phoned either they have been very helpful or extremely helpful and i am sure today has been very stressful to them all for personal reasons, never mind then being the barrage of worried savers being stressed and taking it out on them.

Whilst we are in THANKING mode, let us extend our thanks to all of the contributors to this forum (that's you!!). It is this exchange of views, comments, etc HOWEVER diverse and different they may be, that makes this forum work. People come here learn, contribute, etc but at the end of the day they make their own decisions.

Thanks to Martin and his staff for hosting this forum.

My daughter and I have savings in ICESAVE, I guess that we will have to wait and see.

You'd be quite suprised how many of the mods and Martin actually visit the forum.

Only people who always contribute are dunstonh (whose just crazy), Milarky, Oblivion (because he's rich) and isofa.

I rarely see Crabman on here!

However, its nice they pop along every now and again.

The staff at Icedave and KE have my sympathy too. I'm sure none of them saw this coming. They are just tiny cogs in some big international wheels.

Bear this in mind if you speak to them, i.e. don't take your frustrations and anger out on them: they are not to blame.:)
