  • I have just been duped. Bought 3 pairs from www.alluggsnow.com

As soon as I bought them I had a moment of clarity and guessed they were fake/a scam. The clue was that there was no address or telephone number on the website! Duh! But too late. I contacted my bank straight away who took the details but said I would have to contact the company and wait and see if they arrive. I contacted the company using their online form to say I wanted to cancel the order. They emailed me and said it was too late the order had been despatched. There were chinese symbols on the email so it was my first clue it was a company based in China (the website leads you to believe it is an american company, where UGG Australia is based. Today I got a letter from Deckers Europe who own the UGG Australia brand name to say that my boots have arrived in England but have been seized by the UK Border Agency as they are counterfeits, and will be destroyed. This is also confirmed by a letter from the UK Border Agency.
I have contacted the alluggsnow again by email, sending them scans of the letters from Deckers and UKBA and asking for a refund. I have also got a form to complete from my bank (First Direct) which I will be submitting with the letters. First Direct will be trying to organise reimbursement.

Don't you think there may be something suspicious about a site that uses such good English as shown in phrases like "When it comes to the time of cold season, uggs clearance outlet are best choice for you and the uk uggs clearance sale with huge discount and we will sent to you in 5-7 days after we receiving your payment." on the home page or "The specific UGG Bailey Button Boots 5803 trunk need recently been your quintessentially Foreign item" in their so-called blog? To name but two instances?
If not, perhaps the fact that
http://www.uggaustralia.co.uk/beware-cheap-ugg-boots-for-sale/counterfeit-education,en_GB,pg.html says it "may be" counterfeit when you enter it into the search box or that it isn't on Ugg Australia's approved online vendor list might lead you to draw certain conclusions.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
  • Reading through this thread and i can't believe how many people buy of such obviously fake websites?! If they aint on the approved list don't buy them! simple! I got a pair of classic tall from office last week worked out £146 with cashback so i was pleased with that. Unlikely to get any cheaper I think.
  • I found uggs reduced on the secresales website and ordered a pair as they seemed a good price - and knowing I could send them back if there was s problem. I have ordered other items from the site and never had a problem. But whole waiting for them to be delivered, I checked the ugg Australia website and seeing the website wasnt on their list i emailed them to check if the site was an authorised seller and they have said they are not. Does this definitely mean the uggs they are seeking are fake? I have emailed the site to ask them to confirm that they are genuine but havent had a response yet. Thanks

I'm looking for some Ugg Bailey Buttons for my girlfriend (preferably chestnut colour). The best deal I can find is £189.99 at Cloggs, less 10% with code CBPR, less a further 10% with Quidco. Is there anything better out there at the moment?
