I ordered the tall classics from asos and they are really tight to get on and off and tight around my calves when on - i am a slim size 8 so a bit confused about this? Is this normal when they are new? I got my daughter the size 4(well adult ones are actualy 4.5 if you check the label inside)..my Uggs are 5.5 and i can just get my foot into the 4's(im trying to estimate if they will fit her or not as they are for christmas).cant comment on the calf width as these are classic shorts,I do remember when i first got my Uggs last year they were tight in the foot area and i actualy got a blistered heel,now 18months later they are not tight at all,and i could even wear socks with them if i wanted.,(but still comfy)..HTH

I have been trawling the internet for days to find the best UGGS deal - even tempted by the cheap scam sites but didn't fancy getting ripped off by shoddy fakes or worst still them not even being delivered. But having been alerted of this deal my worries are over & have just purchased the classic tall Uggs from TheHut for £155 - fantastic deal, with additional peace of mind purchasing from UK address/telephone number, with UK customer service, free delivery and they will even accept returns until end Jan 2012 to allow for Christmas period. I will hopefully now have 1 very thankful daughter who can throw her old Primark boots away! Thank you MSE!

Got a pair of Classic Tall for £138 at Amazon, using their 10% off code. Pricing is weird on Amazon, but 6.5 was a lot cheaper than 6 although they are actually the same boot. Australian Uggs only come in .5 sizes.

I found this out after trying to get another pair in a size 8 but receiving an 8.5. (Office shoes actually state this on their website):

UGG® Australia has changed their US/UK size conversion so all their footwear now comes in UK half sizes. If you order a size 6, we will send you a size 6½UK/US 8 for the best fit.
