Is it legal to install electric central heating???

Options
Hi,

Me and my brother are thinking of installing an Aztec 6kw electric boiler on a closed loope system and were wondering if this was legal.

There is no gas. It is just a closed loop system for my heating, my existing water heater is not involved.

Thanks.

    Why wouldn't it be legal?

That's probably the most expensive way of getting central heating though. There are several other, cheaper ways of installing non-gas central heating.

I assume that the OP is asking if it is legal for themselves to install the boiler??

Under the new regulations, DIY electrical work is just about limited to changing a 13 amp plug!!!

A certified electrician must carry out the work the OP wants.
