Can anyone recommend a good MP3 Player?

For the physical size to capacity, I don't think you can beat the iPod. Personally though I'd much rather go for a Nano.

I see the iPods as an "image" thing really, but what you said is also true. It depends what it is being used for - if it is just for the odd piece of music, or whether a whole collection is being stored on it. (Or of course, for image)
