Asda groceries delivery

Just had an email from Asda, they are starting delivering groceries to Randalstown/Antrim and surrounding areas from next week. :beer:

Thanks for that, just checked my postcode and they deliver (antrim area). What store is that from though?

From the imaginary store at Junction One that they have been waiting about 12 years for planning permission for!!!!!!

Maybe they are a bit confused, I see from their Store Locator that (from Antrim)

Bangor is 7.94 miles away
Shore Road is 8.12 miles away
Westwood is 8.57 miles away
Ballyclare is 9.09 miles away
Belfast Living is 13.61 miles away

FWIW It was in the Antrim Guardian last night that the planning permission for ASDA at Junction One is about to be announced and the new store will be ready by September 2009, maybe this is connected with them starting to deliver in the Antrim area.

I'm just glad that Tesco will finally have some competition and we are going to get better prices

Delivering to Larne as well, nearest store is Ballyclare but their distribution/warehouse is in Larne........
