I have ISA in Icesave and ..

..... will stop reading this forum and all UK news for 1 month from today, relax and listen to BBC world service only... in a month from now I'll transfer my ISA out if the rate is better elsewhere

I don't think anyone knows the answer to that yet, unless the emergency talks at no 10 this evening have already concluded. I'm eagerly awaiting the News @ 10 for more information.

The biggest worry at the moment, as far as I understand it, is that the first £16k of savings are subject to the Icelandic compensation system and no one seems to know whether they have the ability to pay that, let alone any interest due to us
