Tigerfeet - thanks a million for that - very much appreciated.

No, I do not have a car so need some allowance somewhere for my own travel even if this is only to get to shops and back....

    Thanks again

I do not think so - my dog seems to have claimed my bed....across the bottom and the cat (Tiger) across the 2 pillows.

    Plus the money worries....

    Thanks again

    Hi Anna,

Just wanted to say welcome Honey.

I am in similar situation & half pay looming for me too...off with depression. I read your post & could have been me!!!! Get plenty of advice from CAB (brilliant). CCCS or Nat Debtline & have a good chat through the options & advice.

Keep strong & posting here ......support means the world to you at times like this...the guys here are brilliant.

    Take care ,

Anna, pick up the phone and dial. CCCS are lovely as you know. They will not judge and will talk you through it all quietly and calmly.

Can I just say that your pets allowanance is a bit high. You will not be allowed that much I am afraid.

    Take care honey.

Tigerfeet - I know my pet allowance seems high but this is what it cost me to feed my 2 hairy family members :(

I looked at cheaper food but I would have to buy more of it so the cost would be just the same.

With larger families, one can feed dog on dinner leftovers - me and my daughter hardly have any leftovers as I cook for 2 and we eat the same thing 2 days.

My dog is a large german Shepherd... not a tiney jack russell :(

Ok, calling CCCS now - will post in a bit.

Is it just me or is this site loeading VERY slow? I have no problems with any other sites but this one loads agessssssssssssssssssssss

OK, spoke to CCCS just now, they recommend bancrupcy but have to call them at the end of the month with exact details of my half pay payslip.

    So waiting game now :(

    All the best Anne.

Anything you want to ask do, there is usually someone around who can help and do as much reading as you can between now and the CCCS interview. Get yourself educated on all the facts about BR. Start with this sticky especially the first post
