Vodafone Free Services - not free???
Dear all,
Please see an email transaction between myself and vodafone below.
I had problems in the past with their free mobile browsing. They offered Free Movie Trailers, however whilst accessing the trailers was free - i was charged for the actual data transferred in bringing the clips to my phone.
They are pushing their free mobile tv at the moment and i have used it (being free) but began worrying in case I was charged again.
I still think i've been charged incorrectly - but please see the mail below and let me know what you think?
Thanks,
---

Thanks for your recent email regarding data costs.
Further to your query I can confirm that whilst there is no cost for the video clip, you would be charged for the amount of data transferred. This is the same for all downloads ie ringtones. It is specified that the cost is for the item as well as any subsequent download costs.
If you use the internet services frequently, you may wish to consider increasing your extras pack to cover more of the costs.
If there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,

As you will see from my a/c information, I had to complain a couple of months ago about £20+ worth of GPRS data charged to my a/c. This was charged for data transmitted whilst i was d/loading supposedly *free* movie trailers from the 'free' section of the Vodafone Live mobile website.
I never received a response as to why I was charged for this. I am now receiving texts advertising these free movie trailers for Harry Potter, etc, (which i don't mind receiving). However, how can I be confident that I won't be charged for these again?
Please can you check to make sure that everything is set up correctly on my a/c regarding GPRS/Data charges? I wouldn't mind using the free trailer service, but not if I'm being charged £6+ for each in data charges!
Please could you contact me as a previous mail request was not replied to?
Many thanks,
