i had a bosch good machine but only lasted about 8 years, and a very small part on it packed up, but bosch dont sell the part to get it fixed so had to waste a good machine for the sake of one small part. so wont buy from them again.

Bought a miele paragon plus from John lewis six weeks ago, cost a arm and a leg, fantastic machine, with free delivery and free ten year warranty. Offer is still on.
  • Hi

Consumer search tries to review all the reviews for just about everything. Gives a short top '3 Best buys' and a longer report.

    Hope it helps

Whatever you do, don't buy a Hoover one! Had ours for 3 years and it's always breaking down - I'm having to pay for extended warranty so that when it breaks down I don't have to pay a call out/spare parts charge. I'd never buy one again!

I definitely agree with this, not that our Hoover washer has broken down (yet) just that the damn thing is soooo noisy when it spins, sounds like a jet engine taking off, also takes ages to complete a full cycle, next time I will get a Hotpoint.......:o
SMILE....they will wonder what you are up to...........;)

I have a Bosch which we have been extremely pleased with for the last 10 yrs. We are with British Gas insurance who repair all our white goods and the repair man always says Bosch is one of the best ( he also has the same model). I don't know how they compare with Miele who others are recommending. When we bought our machine 8yrs ago it was around the £500 mark and they are now selling around £250 so not an expensive model IMO.

ive hd a whirlpool machine for 11 years now, hopefully they make them the same as that one,
  • Hi

I was recently in the same boat. Went on Kelkoo to compare prices and found reviews of washers and suppliers.

Got a whirlpool with great reviews (and a dinky way of not creasing the clothes) from Apollo 2000. Ordered Saturday morn, Apollo phoned me 20 mins after order made. Delivered weds morn (£205 all in), as they said they would :D

You would not get that service from Comet or Currys:T So don't forget to review your supplier too!
