Family mobile-great 'til you need to top up

All three of my family have gone to family mobile with no trouble.
However now I want to top up my sons 'phone online it wont let me.
I rang them up and was told to put £10 on my 'phone then transfer it to his.
I tried to do this and although it took £10 off my debit card it didn't put it on any of the 'phones.
Rang up again and was told they had my £10 but would have to wait to see if it went on any of the 'phones!

Thinking of going elsewhere if I don't get it sorted.
