How much did you spend? 2/12

Hello Everyone....

So happy its Friday!!

Unfortunately things didnt work out with the chap I was seeing (boo hoo!!), so am staying single now, that has been the most stressful few weeks ever, and so not worth it!! Do feel a bit down, but never mind!!

Anyhoo, back on the money side - I have lunch with me today but will need to buy a train ticket to my parents tonight, but since I have an "Annual Gold Card Travelcard", I get a 1/3 off, so usually about £6.00 - and will be returning on Sunday, shouldnt really spend much whilst I am there..

Yesterday I spent £2 on library fees - ouch!! But that was all, and apart from that I spent £8.86 on Monday, and £1.50 on Tuesday.... Not a bad week I suppose.

I SO dont want to spend my money at the moment and want to save as much as I can!!! I dont feel debt free...

Oh yes, I applied for a Capital One credit card (just to see if I would be accepted, not because I want one) and was accepted, although theyve offered me a card with an APR of 29.9% - BARGAIN!! Not!!! I am tempted to go for it, purely because I can repair my credit history, and show that I have active credit and make payments on time etc etc - is this correct? If not, I wont worry, as I wont be using it, perhaps there isnt any point!!!

Thats all for me, we get paid again just before Christmas - still waiting to hear about our bonus/payrise, but not expecting too much.

Have a good weekend everyone.

xx

You can repair your credit raiting if you just buy, say your food on it and pay it off in full each month.

With your amazing willpower I think you'll be able to resist the temptation of using it for anything else!

Today I have spent whatever a carrot and a pear cost.

Edit - which is apparently 38p

But succumbed to some crisps at 40p :(

BUT....have got two Saturday shifts at my second job for Jan, which is £212 net! Plus I have 3 shifts this month which is £318 net - hurrah!! :j

It seems I have as many Saturdays there as I want, so that's great. :D

Go for it, you're disciplined enough to just use it and pay if off every month so why not? ;)

Haven't spent anything for a few days cos we've all been sick  but tonight is take away night so will splash out a bit

  • Have spent zero so far today because I've been working from home... Starting in the pub at 5pm so don't plan to spend anything... A good day in all considering I'll make £40 + in the pub (fingers crossed for tips!) :rotfl:

Like wot Lottiepots said (without the pub shift). BTW, Lottiepots, your debt repayment looks really impressive - keep up the good work!
