What's it about?
If you live in the North West or North East of England, Wales or Northern Ireland and are on means-tested benefits you may be able to have your dog neutered for a fraction of the cost.
Take proof of your benefit to a participating vet and in NI, it'll cost just £15, £30 in North West, North East England and Wales. Neutering costs vary from region to region but can normally cost over £100.
First check if you may be eligible
You should be able to get reduced price neutering if you live in North East & North West of England, Wales and Northern Ireland and can prove you're on one of these benefits:
The campaign applies to certain postcodes. If you're within one of these then you should be able to get it reduced:
North East: BD, CA, DL, DH, HG, HU, LS, NE, S, SR, TD, TS, WF and YO
North West: BB, BL, CH, CW, FY, HD, HX, LA, L, M, OL, PR, SK, ST8, WA, WF12, WF14 & WN
Wales: CF, NP, SA, LD, LL, SY, CH5, CH6, CH7, CH8, HR (Hay on Wye)
Northern Ireland: BT
Then find out if there's a scheme near you.
To find out if there's a veterinary surgery offering it at this price near you and to double check you're definitely eligible before making a special trip call 0845 606 3036.
If there is such a surgery near you make sure you mention Dogs Trust when you book your appointment and take your proof of being on the relevant benefits with you to the surgery.
Why's it doing this?
Providing neutering to pets of those who may not normally be able to afford it helps prevent illness in those dogs and can calm them down.

Get in quick - I have a "waiting list" for these as I am limited to the numbers I can feasibly fit in - 2 weeks and rising. CATCH tho: The Dogs Trust is on limited funds and has stated that we may have a limited number we can actually do under their scheme.Garantissez-moi de mes amis, je saurai me defendre de mes ennemis0
