The CS bloke at Robert Dyas said that if I had mentioned that I saw the offer on Moneysavingexpert, he would have given me a 10% discount! Unfortunately, I was too late to use it myself as he could not apply it retrospectively.

I wanted the Salter's scales but they are out of stock, however I rang them and they have eight in stock but not showing on the website:confused: . I also wanted a couple of other items which were showing out of stock but they checked a couple of stores for me and lo and behold 48 of the Salters scales in stock and the other two items in stock aswell. So I'm off to get them :j . Thanks to OP. :D

The Salter scales look great but take up a lot of space - they are about 11" diameter so make sure you have room to store them

One shouldn't buy equipment which does not take rechargeable batteries for two reasons:
    • it's not environmentally friendly
    • over time, it will cost a fortune to run
Don't just look at the purchase price - the consumable costs are a much more important cost factor.
