Also when I have found that a foundation is too dark / thick I mix it with a bit of my regular moisturiser tends to lighten and thin it out a bit so it looks better.This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Can someone please explain the FCUK half price bag glitch thing to me? I know some of you have mentioned it in the past posts but I can't get my head round it. *** Also, the MENS booklet has a voucher for £2 off the Botanics mens gift set, which was recently put down to £3.75 on the clearance section instore. I saw one of these and got it for £1.75 using the voucher. It was a good bargain as I got the mens bag thing with 3 full sized mens Botanic products all for £1.75. Keep your eyes out if you have any of these in your local Boots. Cheers.0

For all of you who are after a soap and glory gwp, my store has got a promotion on some of the s&g items where if you pay for them with points you get 1/3 off.
There were only 3 things to choose from (body butter 666 points, bath/shower wash – can't remember which 333 points, and an exfoliating wash body buffer thingie, 444 points I think).
I spent about 1750 points give or take for four of them and got the gwp, it's lovely btw, think I need another one before I'll open the first so I'll have one just to look at!Check out your local – in mine they were by the regular s&g stuff and there was also a stand with them on by the entrance.
Not a mega-deal but not bad for those of you with points burning a hole in your pocket like me!!!0 -
Hiya mrsbluebear :wave:
As much as I love No7, I HATE their foundations with a passion...always too dark for me. It looks as though you've settled on your foundation of choice, but I'll put in a vote for my favourite foundations - Both L'Oreal - 1 is one of the True Match ones in Rose Ivory, the other is one of the Infallible ones in Porcelain.
Incidentally I think I have found the perfect mix for me for keeping my makeup on all day - No7 P&P day cream, then No7 Shine Control, then one of the L'Oreal foundations, No7 Instant Radiance concealer, and finally No7 loose powder in Translucent. I find with the occasional light dab of No7 pressed powder in Translucent, my makeup lasts from early morning (for me that means 7.30am) to 10-11pm at night when I usually take it off (with an industrial strength sander
)
No S&G GWP in Cambridge Retail Park on Thursday night...just a big gap...
Oh and in case no one has mentioned this already, the Cambridge Christmas Event is 3pm-9pm 23rd October in Cambridge Petty Cury (city centre)

The FCUK weekend bag is half price with the coupon in the Oct magazine and also when you spend £5 (if I remember rightly) you get a toilet bag worth £12 free. I think there were 2 coupons in the mag so you could do this twice if you wanted. Sorry cant actually remember how much it was to start with as I have never actually seen it in any of the stores I have visited. Judy2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Totally forgot in fact, is it when you spend £20 like the others?
I think it is, I'll have to check the xmas book later to see. If we are lucky, there will be a bogof on something that we can use as a glitcheroo.0 -
Hi everyone, the estee lauder double wear was recommened to me and its great, i used to use no7 but it use to come off during the day, the estee lauder one stays on all day until i take it off. Its worth the extra money too and the bottle last longer too. I got the s&g gwp today its fab. I went to boots yesterday and got some baby milk for my brothers gf and didnt' realise you don't get pinkies with them, so i asked the sa if i don't get one and a women next to me at the tills said is this the voucher you mean and that i could have her voucher, it was really nice of her and i thanked her lots.Married 09/09/090

do you have to get an invite to get the 1000 points on a christmas night? or is just everyone shopping spending over £50 getting 1000 points?I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! :rolleyes: I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o0
