Well after today’s depressing experience with boots, was going to take a break (probably a long term one) from boots and not reading this board for a few days (as a change), but just want to say a huge thank you to you guys for your support, especially Skibster.


I just realised my obsession with boots has reached an extreme level, well, thanks to my stubbornness to get things work as well . During past couple of months, I just feel missing something if I don’t check this thread every five minutes (hope my boss is not reading this :rolleyes: ) or if I don’t try out every glitch. Was thinking about what you guys would be doing while I was abroad on holiday:eek: … My bf even said “well, boots is enough for you, you don’t even need a boyfriend” :rotfl:

Well, after this “chat” with Skibster, I just realised a good booster is not really the one had most/biggest glitch, but someone knows when to go for it and when to let it go. Guess you true boosters had learned to live with the up and downs with boots and to balance your dignity and getting a bargain.

Learned one lesson if I ever open a business myself :rolleyes: - cherish every loyal customer and not taking them for granted just because they’re loyal. I know we all had our moments when we were trying some glitches – 1p, free, 341… but how many of us have bought things that we never needed, how much £5 we’d spent just to get a voucher which drives us back to spend more, how many of us have loyally gone to boots even though we knew their products are so overpriced. The point for boots is – it’s not easy to get a DEDICATED customer while it’s easy to lose one, guess love and hatred is just one thin line :rotfl:


For what is worth, I’m so happy that boots had brought me so many lovely “friends”:A, this must to be most friendly and supportive board EVER, you guys are always there for each other, giving advice, support, ideas even actual products from boots:D . Remembered last time I couldn’t find even one lisa eldridge palette (you know you are always desperate for something you can’t have), Sonee2405 just selflessly sent me one without even letting me pay for postage! Compared with this, 3 weeks back a lady from Manchester insisted to buy a brand new dress I was selling on gumtree (in Cardiff), saying she loves it and needs to take it on holiday in a week's time, I just posted her immediately before I received any payment or postage but so far I haven’t got a penny or an email from her :eek: . How silly was I! Guess I just got into the habit of trusting people too much!


Ok, sorry for the chat guys, I’ll let you guys get back to the excitement of pinkies. Thansk Ess-six, patwinning and geordie_lass for your kind support! I really appreciate it! Hope everybody’s getting some good deals, but more importantly as Skibster said “slow down when Bootsing becomes upsetting rather than fun”

Is it just the pinkies for no7 that are out this time ...or d you think the till spit for olay ...time delay etc will be out as well....

Pinkies are back tomorrow for 4 weeks I believe. Not heard anyone mention skincare vouchers.

Totally agree with Jessie in her post, as Im sat here fuming cuz I cant order some washing up liquid owing to Boots not applying the discounts. Feel I should get a life ha ha!! OMG how sad stressing over washing up liquid, especially as we have a dishwasher and dont use it a lot anyway.

The new gwp starting tomorrow is a mens one which you can only get by spending £20 on No7 mens stuff (but can be combined with other stuff ie 2 x £10 mens No7 and something else as your 3rd free item - not v exciting - haven't seen what the bag is like but should contain the 7 essentials ie not the tanning stuff).

When the ladies xmas gwp comes out 4/11 there will be a mens one too available on a £20 spend from either the womans/mens or a mix of the 2

Also (and not b4 time) there are new products coming out tomorrow (P&P foundation is one) and 4/11. She mentioned glitter eyeliners like the Urban Decay ones but I can't remember what else......

I agree with restraint being important in this game and am getting better at it I think, as when the sanctuary coupons were about I managed to resist the urge to get some just for the sake of it

The other day you posted a shop with some photo frames or albums and mentioned using a 250 points pc coupon? Was it the 250 points frame/album coupon from pc with the pic of a pink frame on the front? As the ones i *had* expired 24/09?

I got 2 of the R&M lip palettes not realising they are on 3 for 2 .. PAH! any suggestions ladies, gents and mimi (lol) .. as the offer will have finished before I get back into a Boots!
