Why would anyone spend £3.50 for 3 pinkies when you could buy 4 Mitchums, use 4 half price vouchers, pay £1 and GET A PINKIE. Do this 3 times and you have 3 pinkies, spend £3 AND you have 12 deodorants? No Brainer for me.

Got to agree with you Val, this is a grey area and potentially could get someone into a lot of trouble, or at the very least cause a lot of embarassment.

If you want to use the points voucher from the GWP then you could do the transaction without your card, get your receipt validated and have the points added later.

Just popped into Herne Bay Boots & they had Balm Balms reduced to 75p. They had the pink & blue ones. They were by the perfume counter.

If so, then basically if the Boots security staff catch you at this then you could be charged with theft. The voucher isn't yours to use untill you've paid for it, plain and simple.

Also, Martin could get into trouble if the Boots staff who read this thread make a complaint about suggestions being posted on this board as to how to defraud them, or other similar dodgy activities. ANd newbies reading this thread could get the idea that this is a legitimite activity in Boots and come a real cropper out of innocence.

For my tuppence worth...the voucher is within the GWP to encourage you to purchase more items. You may not have left the shop without paying for the item but you have used the coupon which technically is NOT yours until the purchase is made.

I have openly removed coupons from their magazine before going through the till but the magazine is free to card holders anyway so saves two till stops!
