Nikon D40 with kit lens - £220.86 @ Amazon

Options
Thanks to Ebenezer Scrooge over hot HDUK for spotting this one.

A great price for a good DSLR...but the price does seem to have been dropping steadily over the past few weeks anyway.

    great deal - highly respected camera and half the price of the one I've just bought.

    Search Ken rockwell Nikon D40 for a good review (Didn't put link in case there are copyright issues)

    Argos have D40 now at £224 with a £10 off voucher available making £214 a great price for a present for anyone wanting a DSLR good for entry level photography courses and upgrading from point/shoots.

    PC WORLD no longer pricematch Amazon - they do match Argos however.

    This price promise applies to:
    Argos, Comet, Jessops, Tesco, John Lewis, Asda, B&Q, Game Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Maplin, Staples, Toys R Us, Zavvi, Woolworths.

    Argos link (£10 voucher also)

    NIKON CASHBACK OFFER;

    One offer has ended but they will have a new one soon, you will probably get £40 back on this camera also;

    Got this at Amazon for £220 - absolute bargain!
    The pictures it takes are fantastic, even though it's 6MP, it easily beats any compact camera, even the 10MP ones.
    LCD on the back is great, and you can take several shots quickly, browsing, deleting and editing on the camera easily afterwards.
    Highly recommended.

    Gone up at Argos as well - now £249
  • Do what another money saving member did for an ipod from argos.
    Purchase 2 seperate amounts of £100 argos vouchers and receive £10 argos voucher for each amount as well.
    Then purchase £50 argos voucher and receive £5 argos voucher.
    Extra £25 saving towards your camera.
    You should also receive more vouchers once you have made your purchase.
  • Hi just found this camera for £220.04 on Dixons website,(would be £4.95 delivery if required) but can get £5 off by using discount code SAVE5.you could also get between 1.5-3 % cashback depending on which site you use.just off to buy one having read numerous reviews.:j

    Dixons saying unavailable when I went back online,will try again tomorrow.Did find one for £199 with free delivery from company called "myidealbuy"-silver model stated refurbished but Nikon Quality assurance and 1 year warranty.Never heard of company though.Can't find any more info re them,other than registered as "raffles for good causes Ltd".Dodgy sounding name-sorry if the company's not.Anyone had any dealings with them?
