Three lost my payment

I am currently with three. I usually pay my line rental by direct debit, but unfortunately couldn't for my septeber bill. Instead I sent them a cheque on 19th September. The money left my account on 24th September.

Since the 19th i've been without a phone as 3 cannot find the payment.

I am currently unemployed and making a lot of job applications, but if people cannot call me its useless.

I have tried calling 3 who ask me to send in a bank statement via fax (i don't have a fax machine). All the bank statement will show is cheque #400006 32.80 so I don't see why they want it.

What can i do now?

surely the bank will be able to tell you who's cashed the cheque. Plus it would only be the name on the cheque that could cash it anyway. The bank should be able to fax them something i'm sure, ask, they may be able to help.

The bank said that it is impossible for them to know who /what company cashed the cheque (I find that hard to believe).

I sent a fax to three of my bank statement and their Indian call centre is saying that it isn't showing up on the system and will take at least 24 hours.

Its been almost two weeks now its ridiculous

try and get into a three store and ask them to escalate the issue for you.
