Well.. I HAD thought of that... but then I thought I simply cannot be trusted and the thought of murder scenes turns my blood cold.. Are they allowed to be complete wusses when it comes to dead things?? I can about handle dead mice and fish but beyond that I get wibbly.
lol I don't think you'd get a lot of choice over jobs to attend but having said that DH always said you learn to regard dead people as things rather than people, that way it does not mess with your head quite so much. A lot of the people he dealt with had played chicken with trains and I don't need to tell you who would win in those type of competitionsWhat was left was not always recognisable as a body. As far as I can remember he didn't have to go to any murders in 16 years. Sorry to anyone if that's TMI or you were eating.

Sorry - been busy. I have been reading and thanking when the button was working but didn't want to do half hearted or off topic posts.
I have mostly kept on top of the house stuff but mainly by keeping off here and facebook in the rare bits of free time. Just done HHI, and the WM, DW and TD are rumbling on in the background. I am working from home tomorrow - so should catch up a bit more. Self employed stuff so only myself I am cheating.
Pigpen - may be worth turning it on its head and thinking about where you want the course to get you rather than what course would interest you. I wanted to earn a certain amount before I was thirty - living in rural Lincs at the time the people who made that kind of money worked in HR or marketing. I had the chance to get into HR at a low level so I took it - I then worked out what I needed to have in place to get were I wanted to be, and I made it happen. No strong interest in HR at the time but it got me to where I wanted to be - career b**ch sat in the boardroom ner ner de ner ner, only then I decided to have children instead because it is a lot less stressful and I don't have to do mean things to nice people anymore.
Metallurgy? I can't find people with the skills to recruit them. Not sure what the demand is like in your area but Cheshire and Leics is difficult.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

LOL.. I don't know what is worse!! Seeing a person as a 'thing' or it being unrecognisable!.. Good job I have an evil sense of humour!
My nieces grandad played chicken...
I might just go get a job in a bank.... PMSL..............LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I believe they teach you to faint gracefully and puke up discretely.:D
Seriously - not EVERY forensic scientist is the first on the scene at the site of the murder. That's usually left to the most senior one. There are a lot who work behind the scenes sorting out DNA tests, interesting fungii etc. that never get to actually see a dead body. There's also the forensic statistician who just plays with numbers on a forensic basis - you'd be good at that the way you manage to juggle your finances.
Seriously.... Give it some serious thought and phone up and ask questions.
And, if you don't put the bathroom up tomorrow I'll just have to head off piste towards the black run all on my own for a day....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks for the good luck wishes, means a lot. Rach, the problem is they've moved where it is to where there is limited parking. DP is supposed to be doing the exam aswell. Public transport there would mean 3 or 4 changes and would take until after it starts at 10am from school drop off time. The only other parking there is the seriously expensive airport parking if there are spaces. Taxi would be even worse, probably over £50 and that's going with DPs friends. It's just added another worry to it. I suppose like DP said when I threw a tantrum and said I wasn't going, I may aswell go and try to do it, nothing to loose. Bit strange he's being the nagging one instead of me. Then Thursday I will sort this house out!
Right, spent the last half an hour reading previous exam paper thinking 'I haven't got a clue how to answer that...' grrrr, right, going to have until 9pm not touching or looking at it then do half an hour and then shower. After shower will do another half an hour while drying off. Washers on, oh darn, swimming kit!One day I might be more organised...........
