we all have down days/weeks/months ..... dont let the mess bother you - baby steps and all that.... listen to aunty denise - she's right.

I have a long way to go but whatever little bit that i get the way I want I try very hard to keep that little bit as near perfect as poss and then build on that - its like the shiny sink - I dont think of it as a challenge anymore its just a ritual/habit or whatever you want to call it - it just gets done! and now I am working on the worktops to go with the sink.
In the bedroom I gutted the bedside table thingy a while back and polished it up and got rid of the clutter and now a few weeks later it still looks good - I need to add the rest of the bedroom to it bit by bit!!
do you see what I mean??

  • Now I know it's not much, but I managed to eat a microwave meal, peg my washing on the line, unload the dishwasher, and load some dirty things into it. I didn't have time for a cuppa, but I've made myself a flask to drink outside school when I go to pick DD up.
    See you later. xx
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

I keep wanting to burst into tears as well.

I have been to the Dr’s this morning, as I have certain women’s problems!! (comes with getting old!) I won't bore you with all that happened to me on Saturday as it will put you off your lunch. Maybe I did too much flying!!

The very nice Dr has put me on Utovlan, does any one experience of this, maybe you could mail me, as I know we are not allowed to hand out medical advise, but it is not the advise I am looking for it (the Dr gave me all that, and told me he wouldn’t be a women with all we have to put up with!!) is the experience of it all.

(((hugs)))) kazw - cant help with the tablets but I hope they help

Everyone's had lunch including the dog. Think i'll sit with DS and pup and finish my book 'Burning Bright - Tracy Chevalier'. I'm really enjoying it but don't seem to have the time to read it for long.

Half hour reading challenge for me I think! xx

    Afternoon ladies :j

Seem to have my lost my get up and go for some reason, I did really well start of last week then flopped and did nothing apart from wash up, make bed and cook dinners..
This morning has passed me by as I spent most of it in bed with the mother of all migraines, which is still there and really paining me. I have had to resort to my really strong painkillers which knock me out if I'm not careful :( And I haven't even bothered to get dressed - I am sitting here on the sofa with a fleece wrapped around me, a dog curled up at one end and my little princess Amycat snuggled up in a tiny space between me and the arm of the sofa.

I am looking around at the mess in the living room and really don't want to do it, but I have to as I have a man coming around tomorrow to interview me for my friend's reference for her civil defence job. And I don't want him to think I live in a pigsty, even if it is only downstairs that he will be seeing.. I did want to be a good girl and bake either a cake or some cookies to offer him with a cup of tea too.. Might be a bit ambitious of me the way I am feeling today..lol

I am so glad that someone else has an obsession with pegs - I have to have mine all the same colour when pegged on clothes outside. I even bought a pink whirly gig to match my pink pegs :) And when I peg outside I have to have the same shade of pink on each side of the line too. DH went to help me peg out the other day and handed me a different shade of peg and he then decided I was totally weird as I went into a rant about how it had to be the same shade and how it through the whole look of the line out.. Now I know why I have to take my medications..lol

I have also found I am doing the same on the airer indoors now. We have just bought ourselves a continental airer and I peg the clothes on the airer like I would on a line outside - now that is sad!!!

Please tell me I am not the only one that pegs her washing onto an airer instead of folding it over..

Hugs for everybody feeling down - I am too but AF is due later so I do have a reason.

I often feel overwhelmed by the flying. I've not stopped really today, tidying, hoovering, cleaning, washing and I've not even started the living room and it just seems never ending - a bit like painting that really long bridge. Thing is I know I feel worse when it's not done.

Remember our houses did not get in this state in a week so will not be sorted out in a week. Decluttering really is the key but I find I have to put the cleaning on hold if I'm decluttering - there simply are not enough hours in a day.

I was going to put to sainsbury on my bike but can't be bothered. I have to take DS to beavers later and it is opposite so I'll do it then in the car, might even be some bargins at that time of day.
