I've got a poorly littlie at home.....bad stomach ache and feeling sick. Not sure he's going to be sick but sometimes a day off is all they need to keep them going till half term. He's sat on the sofa with puppy dog keeping him company. She loves him being off!!!

Hugs for your DS hope he feels better soon. W is back on form and has gone to school this morning.

Blimey you lot have been chatting, I went to update the MFi3 thread with my latest findings, come back here and there are 3 pages to catch up on!!! I know there are some flyladies who are in the MFi3 challenge, did you update TallGirl?

  • I'm feeling quite low today. I just got in, and despite trying really hard to do all the jobs on the list for the past 3 days, the first impression when I got home was a tip.
I only have 45 minutes before I have to go out again, so I'm going to have some lunch and a cup of tea. I might just have time to unload and load the dishwasher. I feel like I could cry.

Poor you, it can be so demoralising! But I'll second or third what Flower said. Don't beat yourself up, take it steady, it's bitesize chunks, and within a few weeks you'll be on top of it all, and then able to just whizz through to keep on top of it. It's true... honestly!

I'm not massively into housework, I don't think most of us are, but the aim is to get on top, so that once there, a little maintenance keeps you there. I think toots always reminds everyone that this mess didn't happen in a day, so it'll take longer than a day to fix it! Wise wise words!

Chin up chuck, and you'll see, in a feww weeks of following Pigpen's fabulous lists you'll be cool and dandy!

Sounds like a few people could do with hugs. You know if you all wanted cheering up you should just come round to our house and see the challenge I have got! Hotspot is NOT the word to describe it!!!! However it is true babysteps is the only way and when you are fed up with something then stop and move on somewhere else. The fact that anything is getting done means that things are improving. Now I just need to take my own advice :rotfl: so first things first lunch!!!!

  • Ok... that was very productive!

I couldn't decide whether to do my HHC or Toot's :rotfl: So I did both!

    Vacuumed the stairs and hall
Emptied the dyson and washed the filter on it... yuck (hate that job)
    Swept LR
    Dusted LR
Scrubbed coffee table... ( must sand it and re-varnish it... be so much easier in the long run)
    Wiped down TV + Unit + DVD/V+BOX/etc
    Cleared mantle piece

    S&S kitchen
    Unloaded and re-loaded DW
Mashed up eggs and mayo for lunch...yum (in bl**dy bread bombs.. Pigpen if you're reading... you have inflitrated my mind! I cannot look at the bl**dy things without thinking bl**dy bread bombs) :rotfl:

So all in all, that was fab! LR is gleaming now! As long as you don't look up and notice that it seriously needs painting....

My family so needs me to join this thread :D ..... I quite computerly challenged so hope that I am doing the right thing by copying the original list and coming back to edit it?

Plus this site overwhelms me a bit, is there an easy way to find this thread again?

Thanks, and off to do some work

welcome to the madhouse lilysue - it will soon make a diff in your house - just be patient and dont try to do it all at once - babysteps!!!!

You have done very well in producing your list if you are not very techy minded. as for finding the thread there are lots of ways -This is what I do - once you have posted on a thread like you have done here it will be on you "UserCP" list (see the green border above) - if you want to just be able to locate a thrad for future reference (be a lurker!!!!) go to "thread tools" when you are in the thread and click on the drop down arrow and click "subscribe to thread" it will ask you to if you want to subscribe - clcick "subscribe" and it will be on your User CP list to. All your fav threads will be together.

someof the flyladies might have an easier way!!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
