Pigpen - no it's not bad of you. What is really important (and this applies to anyone in this world) is YOU and YOUR family and YOUR friends. Don't let YOUR ideals and dreams die because one person can be a scrote. You can rise above it. You don't actually have to get him sacked but you can be BIG and BRAVE and face him and stare him down. The minute he does something out of turn - you've got him. Let him hang himself - you don't need to tighten the noose yourself.

Can I tie the noose then?? and build the gallows?? ;)

Well I rooted around in the freezer and there's no salmon

I'll just have to make do with a Tesco cod fillet in batter or something. DS was going to eat too but has now decided to go out with a mate for beers and stuff. DiL is working late - I'm not sure how best pleased she'll be with that!

DS's mate popped in just now. I haven't seen him for ages. He got married a few months after DS did and was DS's best man. Seems he and his wife (Brazilian) split up this summer and are now going through the throws of divorce. Ahhh me, so sad, but even more sadly, so predictable. But he seems cool with it and, as he said, at least there are no children involved.

Right, I need to fire up the cooker and eat!

    Morning.

    Welcome Beccah!

Have animal0019.gif the dogs already this morning. Now need to get my fat butt into gear and get some work done.

First off I need a shower.
One load of washing done, sheets next, then duvet cover.
    Then Groceries.
    Buy some lettuce plants
Buy birthday gift for one year old - any suggestions??
Birthday party for said one year old after lunch.
    Make bed again.
    Quick tidy through house.

And that's my day done. Then the working week starts all over again tomorrow. :(

Oh, and hey - have you ebayers seen this site: http://www.fatfingers.co.uk/ I'm sure you have, but just in case . . .

Yes, but you do it in secret. You just make sure it's there, like a magic trick, at the right time. Oh - and wear gloves and make sure you don't spit - we can't have any traces of fingerprints or gob from which DNA samples can be taken:D

I may well go load the DW before twink and twonk get back from god squad and reload the WM's.. the lunch boxes are all clean for Monday and the uniforms are washed and ready to dry.

I have to wash Tiddles coat as it is caked in mud.. she has come home from nursery today with a large bruise on her thigh.. about the size of a plum.. it looks like she has been kicked but she says she fell over.. but it would be difficult to fall on that area of her leg. She said her cardigan was 'all waterwy' when I picked her up.. it was actually caked in paint! She is a right mudlark!!

I have some bits to throw on ebay as well.. I'll get them done after loading the WM's and the DW...

Then I'll go get a shower and go drink loads of falling over water!

Just flitting in again...I'll do a proper visit tomorrow!

Lovely days supply work today, I even had two free lessons, so got all the planning done for next week! Hurray, and I typed it and sent it off to the Head of Faculty when I got home, so I'm having a free evening. Well, I was until DS2 asked me if I'd washed his favourite boxers that he needs to take on the D of E trip tomorrow??? When would I have been in the house to do that??? GGGrrrrrr....

Sarah - I'm sorry this is late in the day, but a very, very happy birthday!:bdaycake:

pigpen - happy to read that you've mulled it over and made your choices! Ask the lab to install close CCTV, and keep a diary and always have witnesses - or at least a cast iron alibi, when you actually do the deed.:D Have a great weekend.

    Must go wash boxers. Bye!
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Evening ladies - just popping in quickly to say happy birthday to sarah.

I've had another long and naff day. I think i might have some PND descending on me again as i have been tearful numerous times today, but i will snap myself out of it. But, i did clean my kitchen sink and drainer, so that is a good start to the weekend.

See you all tomorrow girls when i'll hopefully have some progress to post.

I always think of those who are missing but we all know that sometimes MSE is the last thing on our mind, but they know we will be here when/if they need us.

soappie you sound a little more relaxed :)

Denise I use www.goofbay.co.uk the most, more tools ;)

Pigpen, as I've realised you have to do what makes you happy or you get bored! I'm thinking of doing some science stuff next actually. Good luck & I hope you manage to get the course you want.

Brrrr chilly up here, dark when I got here but had left the beds set up so easier. Got a little flying to do here tomorrow before swimming. Going to do some sudoku I think, nice being away without my studying books for the first time!
One day I might be more organised...........
