Wow this thread moves fast! Jumping in with two feet...spent the afternoon tackling my mountainous pile of ironing and surprised myself by managing to change the Power assisted steering pump on the car....with a little help from my dad.

    Sink cleaned and bleached
Plastics for recycling (kitchen AND bathroom) bagged and ready to go
    Washing brought in
    Things in wrong place moved
Clothed in DS floordrobe placed in one pile for HIM to sort:rolleyes:(ie put in wash basket) or he won't have clean kit..clean uniform..;)
Matches taken off DD who is NOT to light candles unattended:eek:
Some washing from maiden still to go upstairs
Dining room hotspot MUCH less scary

I am hungry...not had my tea yet - but I will sit down when I have 'scanned' the living room and put away the ironed stuff.

I'd do forensics BUT.. it is chemistry dept based and hubbys BIL works there as a tech an d I loathe every fibre of his sleazy body with more than every fibre of mine!

You never know with me.. I am more than likely to change my at mind last minute!

Pigpen - do the forensics! You'd be so good at it! You can rise above the BIL hatredness (made up word!) just think how gutted he'd be when you excelled at it!

Done the quick, quick catchup tried thanking but it's slow.

SarahShattered - a belated birthday wish for you.
Dusty - I got your email I'll work on it for you over the weekend.
Rach - hope you manage to get hubby back on the straight and narrow over the studying. He's probably hit a brick wall and needs help demolishing it.

Busy day at work again and I'm glad it's the weekend. I didn't fly last night because of the meeting and I'm not flying tonight because it's gin night and I've just been next door

But, ladies, you should be proud of me. As the forecast has been so good, I've been putting the washing machine on in the evening and been out in the garden in the dark in my dressing gown and nightie for the last three mornings pegging it all up! So, most of this week's washing is now done.

Am still trying to find somewhere to stay for my week off. I may just turn it into a short break - there's a place I stayed a couple of years ago on the IOW that isn't perfect but would do and you can book by the night.

Am now going to dig in the freezer for something for dinner - I think there's some salmon in there somewhere..

Just remembered I've done no flying today, oh well tomorrow is another day.

Time for DS3 to go to bed - he is engrossed in X Factor rerun.

You wouldn't have much contact with him, though, surely? And I always found the techs kept out of the way as much as possible...and you are so going to outshine him when he is still a lowly lab tech (I've done that job...so I DO know what I'm talking about) and you have your degree and your fab career. Don't let a slimeball put you off.

It's NOT an obsession...it's a lifestyle CHOICE:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

it is the rumours and lies he would spread I am more bothered about.. and I know he would.

and no.. it is an obsession..
pigpen this is exactly what I was going to say to you earlier but didnt because I wasnt sure what the set up was in the labs - now valli has confirmed it - you wont have that much contact with him and I know you will be quite capable of putting said @rsewipe back in the sewer should he raise his head! Why let the moron deprive you of doing something you would like to do - you cant let him win like that - dont let him spoil your life anymore - go do what YOU want to do and to hell with him!!! be strong -

I don't want to contaminate water supplies.. I'd rather dissolve it in acid...
johanne, mumoffour77, redmadcurls, skintscotslass that I can think of for now

And raphael.. johanne is in lurkdom I think.. she'll not be far

And how video'd and youtubed it would be when I fainted in class.. or made a whopper of an error... and how many times he would tell hubby I'd been doing things I hadn't (which he has done before) and how 'watched' I would be and how uncomfortable I'd be... mind ... yyooouuuuuu..... Am I evil???.... How long do you reckon he would be there before I could have him out of a job????????
